Cookie notice
Draft for legal review. This text describes what the website actually does; the parish’s lawyer must check it and complete the parts in square brackets before it is relied upon.
In short
This website sets only the cookies it needs to work. It has no analytics, no advertising and no social-media trackers, so it does not ask for cookie consent. Content from other services that may set its own cookies loads only when you choose it.
Cookies of this website
tp_locale — remembers the language you chose; kept for one year.
tp_note_draft — keeps what you typed in the form for names for prayer when the form has to be shown again after an error; 10 minutes, deleted once the list is sent.
tp_note_last — lets the website show you the status of the list you have just submitted; one hour.

Stored in your browser
To work offline, the website keeps copies of recently visited pages and of its own files in your browser (service worker cache). You can remove them by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Other services — only when you choose
Videos are shown as a picture. The YouTube player (privacy-enhanced mode, youtube-nocookie.com) or the Vimeo player loads only when you press play; from then on YouTube or Vimeo may store cookies or similar data under their own policies — Google, Vimeo. If you do not want that, do not press play. Preview pictures of YouTube videos come from YouTube’s image server.
On the donation page, when Apple Pay or Google Pay is offered, the payment scripts of PayPal and Google load to show those buttons and may set their own cookies, which they need to process and secure the payment. Paying with PayPal takes you to PayPal’s own website.
The map is made of OpenStreetMap tiles served by this website itself; no request goes to a map service.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Without the cookies above the website still works, but it will not remember your language, and a form with an error will have to be filled in again.
